Comfort Inn & Suites Cambridge

Had an extended stay here because my house burned down. The front desk and manager were very kind. Only inconvenience was having to move rooms because of furniture changes occurring.

Very quiet place, plenty of parking spaces, free to use. Rooms were clean and amenities also provided. Very friendly staff.

My mother was traveling to Cambridge to stay with my family for a memorial service and had a reservation at the Cambridge Comfort Inn the following day. Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Helene, she had to evacuate her home in North Carolina in the early hours of her reservation date due to dangerous mudslides and severe flooding in her area. Although the Comfort Inn has a 72-hour cancellation policy, I reached out to request a cancellation and refund, as my mother will already be facing significant expenses in the aftermath of the hurricane. I spoke with the General Manager, Gretchen, who took my request to her Regional Manager. Shortly after, she informed me that they had cancelled the reservation and my mother would not be charged. She also offered her heartfelt best wishes, which meant so much to us during this difficult time. I cannot fully express how grateful my family and I are for the understanding, support, and compassion shown by the Comfort Inn staff. In such a challenging moment for us, their kindness and excellent customer service were a true comfort (it is in their name after all!). We are deeply appreciative, and it’s heartening to know that genuine care still thrives in customer service today. Thank you, Comfort Inn and staff, for going above and beyond.

Comfort Inn Cambridge can use some sprucing up: a few visible torn carpets, the water in the shower didn't turn off all the way, a weird situation with the lights in the room we were originally assigned. The folks who work there, however, were superlative. Friendly, very helpful, and if there were problems, they were able to make things work. Breakfast was standard stuff, but a decent selection, and fine. The location right off Route 50 was quite convenient.

Michelle the customer service Rep.went above and beyond. I had to change rooms and had baggage. She was the only person available and helped me carry my things. She had a very good customer service attitude and definitely a role model for Comfort Inn. She went above and beyond to assure I had a pleasant stay. It's good employees like her that represent quality and why I would stay there. The hotel is average and great priced. Would stay again. Great breakfast clean and wifi service avaliable. I love this hotel because everyone who works there is super sweet, and super accommodating. I understand the struggle of working in customer service, and whenever I go in there they are always super polite. I love the area the hotel is in as well because there’s super fun things to do! Downtown Cambridge has a bowling alley, and they have really amazing restaurants. They’re located next to a restaurant called Cambridge Diner, and I absolutely love to go there when I’m hungry. Another favorite part about this hotel is their breakfast, they cook the most amazing eggs I especially love the cheesy eggs they make! The ladies (or gentlemen) who cook the breakfast definitely deserve a raise! I especially want to give a shout out to their General Manager who is an absolute sweetheart, and is super helpful if you have an issue. This hotel seriously goes above and beyond to help the situations that happen, and they definitely do not deserve the negativity that I see sometimes. My husband is a hunter, so he stays here even without me sometimes. He said the front desk receptionists make the hunters “grab-n-go” bags in the morning which I absolutely love as well because the hunters leave around 5, and their breakfast area doesn’t open until 6:30 on the weekdays. You guys definitely make my stay worthwhile every single time I stay there, and I absolutely love it! Thank you all so much for your hard work!

The place is well situated (easy access, surrounded by greenery with highway nearby) - the staffers are welcoming - our pet can stay here at a reasonable cost - our room was clean and the bedding comfortable - the breakfast was nicely displayed, offered lots of options, and was tasty - the front staff was knowledgeable - good value for the money. Only downside was that the place seemed a little worn and our bathroom especially needed to be upgraded. Would stay here again.
